Diane Bartoo - Stephanie, winning awards on your photography is a fun but tedious process. First you become of member of a photographic organization. I belong to professional photographers of America (PPA , Professional Photographers of California (PPC) and also my local affiliate, Inland Empire Professional Photographers and Videographers. Then you submit your images to print completion, where a panel of 3 to 5 judges rate your image with a 12 quality rubric guidelines for impact, technical values, artistic values and so forth. It is a tedious, nerve-wracking process but very rewarding.
